  24 FPS and 23.98 FPS PRORES footage mixed in the same sequence

  Hi,
  I shot a feature recently on Canon 5D Mark III cameras, which produce H.264 footage at 23.98 FPS.
  The footage was then converted to prores 4.2.2 HQ for editing, but during that process some files/reels were inadvertently converted to 24FPS prores, others to 23.98.

  The film is now fully edited, and I just noticed the issue. Nothing is visible to the naked eye, I’ve been browsing through the footage, don’t see any frame blending or anything similar. All the editing sequences are set to 23.98FPS.

  Is there any downside to just exporting the film as is, or is there a compelling reason to reconvert and replace all the 24FPS footage with 23.98? I couldn’t find anything on the topic on google, but the timecode and sync are fine – it seems that FCP is processing both the same way?
