24 – 30 add pulldown with LH?
I have a 23.98 project preloaded with DVCPROHD footage (23.98 1080).
I’m trying to reconform to a 29.97 timelime, and have tried to export out 29.97 Quicktimes (Apple 4:2:2 uncompressed) which look fine with a preview render, but are scrambled on the screen with a final render (a ‘la 23.98).I’m using a Kona LH. Any advice? Can I make the Kona add pulldown out of an SDSDI to get it back to Digibeta? My Final output is 8bit uncompressed.

If you want HD output @ 29.97, all you have to do is set your output to 1080i29.97 (59.94). Go to view > external video and set it to 1080i 59.94 (29.97).
If you need an SD down convert, follow the directions I linked to a post or two down from this one. It’s the one the Eli Mavros started.
