So in editing a project, I split it into 4 sequences. Somehow or another one of the sequences was not set right. It was set to 29.97. In the end, I tried to paste it into a 23.98 sequence and it won’t recognize. All the footage is 23.98 from 5d Basically some clips disappear, go out of sync or/and turn green and flicker.

I tried rendering out to a quicktime and bringing that in, and had the same results. I get sound and no picture. What do I do now?

When you say 5D footage you mean ProRes right? if you’re using h264 from the Canon directly then all bets are off. Anything can happen.

Can’t you go back to that original sequence and change the settings, rerender, and maybe even output and bring it back in?

This is also assuming that you shot all of your footage at the desired settings, and the footage was also transcoded to the same settings… if all is correct, you could try copying the sequence and pasting it into a new sequence with the correct settings. If you shot the footage in the wrong settings, you’ll have to use Cinema Tools to change the framerate and start over. Or do it to the output and see if your footage is okay.
