23.98 sequence online at 29.97 recommendations on workflow
In a few days, I have an online session booked in SD. Client cut 23.98 sequence using telecine dvcam tapes. They have digibeta’s masters reflecting the dvcams they used for the offline. The masters do have 3:2 and have continuos TC.
Should I conform their EDL using Cinema Tools or have Media Manager perform this task. Must assume they used multiple video tracks, effects, transitions, ect.
I’m using the KONA 2 card and have the option to capture 10-bit SD at 23.98 and output 2:3 to digi, but I want to see my options.Thank You

Export the 23.98 EDL…use CT to conform it to 29.97…import the new EDL in a new project and recapture.
