  23.98 or 29.97ND for DOUBLE-SYSTEM HVX SHOOT?

  Hello Cow-ers:

  Cutting a feature shot on the HVX200 at 24p (23.98), delivering for 35mm film-out. We will be recording guide track to camera, and double system on a four-track Sound Design 744T. I will be synching audio to picture in FCP (outputting OMF for audio folks) and we are going to use a smart slate to which I’ll synch manually, most likely.

  My question is what T/C framerate to record on the audio recorder — I’m thinking 23.98 to match the HVX, the audio guru thinks 29.97ND.

  Any advice/real-world experience welcome.
