23.98 HD output to 25 and 30?
Hey all,
Just a quick question about outputting 23.98 (1080p) footage. Is it possible to output it to 25 and 30fps or would I need to go through some form of hardware based standards conversion?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Just another note… This is from a classic Symphony Nitris. They want to shoot 23.98 but output for broadcast in North America and Europe.

For SD? If so, transcode to NTSC 23.875 and you can output to both PAL and NTSC.

On my Symphony 3.5.4 with Classic Nitris, in a 1080/24p project, in the Digital Cut Tool, I get the options to output 1080/23.98p, 1080/24p and 1080/25p. If I choose 23.98p, I can choose an NTSC downconversion, if I choose 25p, I can choose a PAL downconversion.
I don’t think there’s an actual need to trancode.
