  23.98 DVCProHD

  I recieved a drive from a client that was shot on P2 cards in HD (the P2 import function on Media 100 works really well by the way). It is DVCPRO HD – 720p 23.98.

  What is the correct way to handle the edit/output of 23.98. I am, for the moment, just finishing on SD. Should I convert it prior to editing? If so, what is the best way to do this? Or will it automatically convert to 29.97 when I output it to tape?

  I’ve never dealt with using the 23.98 frame rate before…
