23.976 Render vs 23.98 shorthand naming
Hi, I was wondering if Resolve renders out at 23.976 when selecting 23.98, or is it 23.98? I ask as a film I’m working on was shot at 23.976 (23.98) on Red and is being mastered in FCP, which results in Audio drift when synced to the 23.98 renders from Resolve. Oddly, with the same audio file, absolutely no drift in Resolve monitoring at 23.98p
Audio comes from ProTools
Any ideas?

So the problem, unsurprisingly lies in FCP. When separate audio files are imported into FCP..they take on the frame rate of the default Audio/Video settings setup in FCP, regardless of your sequence setting.
