23.976 project, need to export progressive frames, avid not doing it…
I have a 23.976 progressive project using the 2:3:3:2 advanced pulldown for some DVX100a footage. I want the entire project progressive to the very last, but when i export for avid to a quicktime, to use in combustion for compositing, the export is interlaced. I find nowhere in the export settings where I can control to render with fields or not. How can I solve this problem?

Export should always be progressive thus the lack of controls for creating anything but…
Are you sure the original capture was done correctly? If not, you will end up with interlace frames since the progressive frames were not correctly built during capture.
Go to a motion part of the footage and export 5 consecutive TIFF frames. There should be no interlace artifacts. If so, there was a capture problem. Either the flags were missing or it was a dub from the original master that was not field accurate.
