    We shooting on SONY HDCAM CineAlta in 23.97
    how without rendering make downconversion (with crop)and transfer in PAL on HD Pro (Dual Link)?
    On Kona 2 HD we find solution

    Hi Bobby,

    Ordinarily when transferring from film at 23.98 or 24fps to PAL video at 25fps, one just runs the telecine at 25fps as the difference is so small it is virtually unnoticeable. If your telecine has SD output, you can capture to a PAL timeline or else capture to a 1080i50 timeline if it has HD output. Is there a deck setting to play out the CineAlta 23.97p material at 25fps?
