Fujinon HA17x7.8B-10 zoom lens. When I use this zoom lens on a 1/2 inch camera (Sony XDcam 350), I can’t get focus in infinity, when in full tele and wide open. The only way to use it in this situation is changing the usual back focus setting and not zooming. Is there a way out?

In close rage it works well.

    Thanks

Perhaps there’s a step down adapter for it, but I suspect it’s simply not 100% compatible optically/mechanically.

I use a Fujinon A10x4.8 2/3inch broadcast SD lens on my 350 adapted with the Sony 2/3 to 1/2 adapter. No issues here.

Usually, what happens is that you get focus in infinity before the lens mark. But, this is new to me.

    Many thanks.

I adjusted the Flange Focal Length with a chart at 10 feet just like the user manual says but I still have trouble with far away subjects wide open and in full tele!
