  20 hr render problem- compressor

  Hi guys,

  I do this workflow quite often but can’t figure this.
  had to abort a render after almost 20 hrs! (still was at 48%!!)

  specifics are a 90 min 1080P/24 (ex1) sequence in FCP.>
  Export to quicktime (16gig file), self contained. >
  Compressor, 90 minute fastest encode preset. single pass >
  added 7 sharpness and 1.17 gamma.
  increased average bit rate to 6.5.

  had to abort after 20 hrs.

  Usually I export a 70 min show (same HD settings), same way
  but WITH 90 min 2 pass vbr encode preset and it takes about
  4 hrs.

  Can anyone help with what I may have done?
  I can’t figure this at all.
