    hey
I would love to add this effect to my movie, when there are like 2 square and in both of them there’s a different piece of the movie playing… i’m using final cut pro. It’s very new to me and I also wonder how you can see the effects. It is impossible to know what your image is going to look like when you adjust the colors, wright?

These types of things are done by changing the Motion Properties.

When you adjust a clip’s color you see the adjustments in the canvas (as long as your playhead is over that clip).

The manual is a great resource, as is the Final Cut Pro 7 training book which is part of the Apple Pro Training Series from Peachpit Press.

If you want to be able to monitor with confidence so that what you see is what you get, you need two items. First, an input/output card or device that is connected to the second item, a high-quality broadcast monitor. Excellent I/O cards/devices are made by Kona, Blackmagic, Matrox and others. High-quality monitors are made by FSI, TV Logic and others. One more thing – you’ll probably need a fast RAID to handle high-def media. Look to your left and right on this page to find RAID vendors.
