2 Strange Errors with MC
Hi guys,
I’m using Avid MC 4.0.3 with Windows XP SP3 and it’s worked great right up until recently.
When capturing using a ADS pyro break out box (which also has been playing nice with Avid until the last week or so), the first clip I capture since turning my computer on will get corrupted.
So capturing will look fine and when I stop recording, I go into the monitor window to check playback and at some point in the clip it will have the GetFinishedFrame Decompression Error in clip error code CMError_Codec. So I’ll delete the entire clip even though it’s just a portion of that clip that goes black and displays that error code. I capture the same material again up to an hour or 2 hours long and it’s fine.
If I reboot, it will do the same thing again on that first capture.
The second error is that while capturing now, say 20 minutes in it will pop up with a Failed to Set DIO Sample Rate. I have no idea why it would do this as it’s coming from an analog video source through the Pyro BOB.
I’ve reinstalled Avid, started new projects reinstalled QT nothing seems to get it back to the sweet way it used to operate.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
John
