2 Questions; Grouping Without Nesting/Sliding In-OutPoints
2 Questions:
1) Is there a way to group many clips together in Final Cut Pro without nesting them into a new timeline?
Why would I want to do this? Maybe I’m done editing a specific amount of clips and I want to move them around as 1 group as so they don’t get accidentally destroyed. It also gives the option to quickly ungroup them, make an edit, and regroup them without having to go back into another timeline.
Premiere Pro has been able to do this for a long time. There must be a way to do this in Final Cut.
2) Is there a way to slide the in or out point of many clips all at the same time?
Say I have 3 video clips all sitting on top of each other on the timeline. They all have the exact in/out points. I want to slide the in or out points of all the video/audio at the same time. Right now, I have to slide every single track of video 1 by 1.
