    I am looking to see how good of a shatter effect AE can simulate. So please direct me to the best effect you have seen (preferably with tutorial)made with AE shatter.

    Also I am looking for books that have great effects done with AE. Please tell me what the best are.

    Oh and the eff in the title means effects.

    Check out Ben Unguren’s Shatter Tutorial. It will give you a basic understanding of how the effect can be applied.

    As far as good books, I would definitely recommend the Books by Trish and Chris Meyer, called Creating Motion Graphics in After Effects (or something along those lines).
