    Hi everyone
Can it be true that Vegas can`t perform a 2-pass render in AVCHD?? I find this hard to believe but I can`t find this option. This could help save bitrate/size when exporting to web right?

2-pass is a VBR option and Sony AVC is CBR only so no, I wouldn’t expect it to have this option. MainConcept AVC has both VBR and 2-pass.

No. It doesn’t affect the size at all. 2-pass makes better use of bit allocation for a given bit-rate. The file size remains the same whether it’s on or off.
