question #1. Is there a way to change the size of a text bounding box without changing the size of the text?. When adding glow filters there seems to be a limit to the distance at which the glow can radiate off the text, it gets clipped by the bounding box.

question #2 I’m using ‘throw’ to resize text, but when played back in FCPHD the text jitters as it moves forward. Both the Motion and FCPHD projects are set to lower field first.

    Thanks

I’ve had a couple of problems with the text boxes and have learned to use a couple of s before and after. That moves the box away. Maybe can work at the top and bottom…

sorry… my post didnt work… I used a couple of back arrows… anyhow, I put a couple of spaces before and after my words to make the box bigger on the sides. You might try adding a couple of returns befor and after your paragraph, if it is that long, for the top and bottom. If that doen’t work, you might add some letters and make them 0% opaque…

If you use the Glow Style in the Text parameters, it ignores the bounding box. I’ve noticed that the Motion Blur Image Unit is limited by the bounding box, but the Direction Blur Filter is not.
