    2 monitors plus HDTV Setup

    Hi All,

    So here is my question. I am running a ATI Radeon HD 5770 video card with dual dvi, a HDMI, and a display port. I am getting a HDTV to use for my video preview connected via the HDMI. Is there anything i need to adjust in Vegas on the preview device tab to get true colors, like under the monitor color profile or check some of the options?

    If you are running 2 monitors + a HDMI flat screen TV you will need to purchase a DisplayPort to DVI converter. then hook up 1 monitor to DVI one to the DisplayPort converter then your TV to the HDMI that is how I had to do it, if you try to use both DVI and then the HDMI you have to chose either HDMI or the Second DVI but cannot have all three working.

    once you get all 3 up goto prefrences in Vegas and set the preview monitor to the HDTV

    Thanks for the reply. I currently have the two monitors running on the 2 dvi connections and the HDMI is running to a home theater projector. I don’t like the current setup and want to use a HDTV instead. So did you adjust any of the settings in the preview device tab of preferences for true representation of final output? Like the monitor color space?
