2 min clip says it’s 32 mins
Howdy folks. I made a short movie the other day. It is a highlights clip of my son. I got everything done on it and after I rendered it, I noticed that it said it was 32 mins long. The actual movie is 2 mins long but it will play for 32 mins just with black screen for 30 mins after the movie ends.
I don’t know how I did this. I have made several highlight tapes like this and had no such problem before. Any help would be appreciated on how to fix it. On the timeline there is only the 15 or so clips for the movie. There is nothing after it on the timeline. Thanks all.

OK nevermind folks I figured it out. I somehow ended up with a marker 32 mins out that I hadn’t noticed. Sorry for wasting your time. 🙂

This is easy to do. This once happened to me and I finally found ONE FRAME of video way down the timeline. Was impossible to see until I zoomed in quite a bit and searched for the problem.

Yeah, the only way I found it was since I couldn’t see anything later on the timeline, I hit the end arrow and it took me right there. I did that 3 minutes after posting here. I felt a tad silly. lol Thanks for the empathy though! 🙂

This is the reason that I always render a selected region — even if I am SURE there is nothing else on the timeline.

It’s always a good idea to do that before you start a render just to make sure.
