2 dvd players 2 different results
I have 2 SONY DVD/Blu-ray players. I am authoring a DVD with Encore. My problem is how the players display my menus.
The PS3 plays as expected but my other Sony player at loop point or when I make a selection the text goes jaggedy for a bit and returns to normal. I guess my question is: What is my point of reference? Do I try to make it look good for the machine that plays the menus poorly or for the PS3 which plays it fine? Or is there a way I can make it look good on both.
(My menus are made with Photoshop, the drop shadows and strokes are more or less same settings as Encore templates using a variation of default “menu color set.” Only the buttons can be selected. The Photoshop menu has images and text on a merged bg layer, and a few buttons with an m2v video in the bg.)
