2 camera shoot, digitize shortcut?
i’m editing a program with 2 cameras tc synced in the field.
i thought i’d log the “A” camera, then copy and paste the bin information so i don’t have to log the “B” camera. i’d just change the reel number under “change media attibutes”.
the problem is, when i change the “b” cams reel numbers, it automatically changes the “A” as well.does anyone have a workaround for this?

There are several workarounds for this depending on which software version you use. In newer versions (I think V8 and up) you can export a PowerLog from a Bin. Log all CamA clips, export Bin as Powerlog, reimport PowerLog adn rename the clips in the imported Bin.
The other way is to log all clips into the “A” bin, sav this bin, make a copy of this bin (or “save as” with a new name) and batch digitize one of these bins. The clips in the other bin will stay offline, and the clips in the first bin are digitized you can rename the clips in the second bin without changing the reel names in the first bin. -
