2 camera shoot 2 different Frame rates need conversion ideas

OK, good thing I asked.
If the footage is MXF, then when you reimport, make sure to to open the log and transfer preferences and choose the option to remove redundant/duplicate frames.

Are you absolutely sure that camera was in 24p mode?

Then it should be working. If it’s not working, it makes me think that the footage was NOT shot in 24p no matter what the dp says. If you go through the footage frame by frame do you see duplicate frames or do you see continuous frames?

May 5, 2008 at 9:06 pmYeah, that’s 24p. Try reimporting ONE of the clips and see if you can get FCP to remove the pulldown.

tried starting new project and reimporting the file still same response
