Today I tried to export a video that was 1×1 pixel just for kicks and giggles. I noticed that premiere only lets me go down to 16×16. Why is that? I’m assuming it has some mathematical purpose as 16 is clearly a square number.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

Minimum and maximum resolutions are usually controlled by the codec.

Thoughts? Rendering 1×1 video is dumb.

Hahaha. I was bored at work. I was curious to see how the computer summed all the pixels into one pixel. Could’ve been cool.

I’m up for fun! Quicktime Pro would export and mp4 down to 8px * 8px, but the video was all black.

    Intriguing.
