1st Nat’l TV Spot
Hello,
First I just wanted to say how much of a blessing this Forum has been!
I’ve been editing with Vegas Pro 7 and 8 for almost 2 years now and I’ve learned so much here.I’ve made videos for individuals and companies to use internally and now I’ve been asked to produce a :30 National TV spot.
We are about to shoot next week and I need input on a few things;
It is an indoor shoot with 2 principals and 2 extras.
We will be shooting with 2 Sony FX1’s with 1 on a glidecam.
We have all the normal lighting gear, etc.
It’s a 100% voiceover so there is no dialog to worry about.This is for our biggest client and they have been happy with our work so far and I want to avoid any potential pitfalls.
1) Do you normally do anything different regarding Make-up when something will be broadcast on TV? We want a warm and natural look for our senior talent.
2) Do I need to do anything differently at this shoot as compared with a corporate training video shoot?
3) What will I need to do while I’m editing and rendering to make sure it is Broadcast acceptable?
4) What providers can I upload a Nat’l spot to so they can feed it to any station?
I’m looking forward to this opportunity and am hoping you all will help me avoid some costly pitfalls.
Thanks!
