1minute project files weight 300mb!
Hello.
I moved like 2 weeks ago from vegas 7.0 to vegas 8.0. And I’m encountering a horrible problem.
The .veg file weights 300mb, when having just one minute project!
How can I fix it?

Are you sure it’s the veg file you’re looking at and not a rendered file (eg. AVI or MPEG)?
I just checked some recent projects 91.5 hr. to 2 hr. long) and the largest veg file I could find was only 132 kb in size. -
I’m perfectly sure.
The ones made in vegas 7.0 have some sensible weight but just look at those made in sv8.0!~

I checked some Vegas 8 vegs and none of them came even close to that size.
I can’t think of any reason why they’d be that large.
What happens to the file size when you open a Vegas 7 project in Vegas 8 and resave it?
Please make sure to give it a different name so you can still open it in Vegas 7.
