    wich of these two cards would preform better? I cant enable the gpu acceleration on the GTS 250 because of the memory. but it is a newer card with new chip set. so wich one would preform better? the hacked 9400 GT or the unhacked GTS 250?

    Honestly, I wouldn’t try to use either of these for hardware acceleration with Premiere. The GTS 250 has too little RAM, and the 9400 GT has only 16 CUDA cores and very slow RAM.

    I’d keep Mercury Playback set to software-only; then it more or less won’t matter which card you use.
