I have set a project in pI for 1920 x 1080, but when I try to render the project after going thru the standard windows (select output – quicktime, select compressor settings – greyed out, hit ok), I see a final window that says Rendering withpIRender, I click OK and nothing happens. However, if I change my project from HD resolution to SD (720 x 480) everything renders fine. Can this program not render in HD? If it can’t it really defeats the purpose why I bought it in the first place.
Technical info: Mac OS X 10.4.11, 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 8 GB of Memory
    Running 3.0.6 version of pI

The automatic calling of pIRender didn’t make it into 3.0.6 — but it’s coming in the near future in 3.0.7.

In the meantime, if you can’t fit the output size you want in pIllusion itself (make sure you maximize pIllusion before rendering so it can make the stage window as big as possible) then you’ll have to save the project file and load it in pIRender manually.

pIllusionRender is installed in the same folder as particleIllusion.
