    18gb of ram?

    I was looking at the 12gb RAM upgrade for my 12 core – 3 sticks of 4gb. Currently I have 6gb stock (3 sticks of 2gb). I was wondering, would Resolve run well on 18gb? I know 6, 12, and 24 are preferred, and 8, 16, 32 are not. But what about 18 on 6 sticks? Would that be worse/the same as 12gb on 3 sticks?
