    Dear forum,
I am working on a 960×720 FCP project. I have my media in my browser in 960×720 and my timeline set up for this as well. However many of my clips have somehow the wrong ratio (4:3) when I drag them into my timeline. I didn’t pay too much attention as I thought I could change this later. So I just edited on, and now when I am finished.

I realize that perhaps I should have dealt with this in the beginning since the only way I can change it would be to go up and re-drag my clips from the browser into the timeline. That is of course a pain since the in and out won’t correspond with my timeline.

Is there a good way of changing this.?

I found out that the motion-scale was somehow change to 66.66%. When I changed it back to 100% then the clip went back to 16×9. Great news!

Your Sequence does not match your clips. 960×720 is DVCPro HD 720p material. Your timeline should be set up to match. As FCP is changing your Motion scale, then your timeline is set to something other than DVCpro HD.
