16×9 preview

Hi all,
every time I import a 16×9 clip it shows as a 4×3 and then when I render it out and put it back in liquid it stays 4×3. is there anyway to have a 16×9 composite window and render out in 16×9??

Hmmm, you might wanna try going to Commotion preferences and reset your import/export settings to dv/dvcpro 16:9.

I tried that , but no go still comes in 4:3.

Hmmm, how about – go to effects drop down menu, then stylize, then framer and play with the adjustments to crop the top and bottom?
