Has anyone out there tried 16×9 Inc’s EX 0.75X Aspheric Wide Converter? I’ve seen many posts about the Schneider Converter being recalled, but nothing about this other lens.

I have the Century .6x wide angle and it has a little distortion, it is only used with full wide on the stock EX lens in macro. I think the lens you are asking about can zoom through. I don’t do wedding so I don’t really need it to zoom. Century makes really good products and almost a year ago they only had this .6x that worked for the EX1.

    Good Luck

I have used the 16/9 .75 wide on my Sony Z1U for almost two years now, when I am shooting hand held on docs and BTS. I am quite happy with the image quality. The only down side is the added weight, but I use a custom shoulder rig for hand holding. It would be very hard to hand hold the Z1U with the adapter with good results.
