  16×9 footage to 4×3 timeline

  Does anyone know the best way to take 16×9 footage and make it 4×3? Should I be re-capturing the 16×9 footage as 4×3? Or should I simply edit these captured 16×9 clips in a 4×3 timeline? I believe that this seems to distort the image vertically…?
