16:9 workflow? What am I doing wrong?
I have sd footage shot with dvx100b in squeeze mode thus 16×9 footage. My question is I bring that into avid edit it..export qt ref (separate audio/video) as soon as I import into encore it wants to transcode because it is 23.976 but after that my properties window says my footage is 4:3 and after its transcoded I can’t go into interrupt footage because it is grayed out? Seems encore doens’t reconize it is 16:9.
What am I doing wrong? Probably something easy?

Are you using an version earlier then 2.0? I don’t believe they supported QT references correctly.
