16:9 video in Encore
Hi,
I’m currently having a problem whereby Encore 1.5 is importing a Quicktime reference 16:9 as 4:3. When the QT reference is viewed in quicktime it is displayed as 16:9. I’ve heard that the interpret footage option under file can remedy this problem, but as the file is a QT reference Encore immediately prompts the transcode option and then the interpret footage option is no longer available once transcoded.
Is there anyway to remedy this?
Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated.

QT Reference files are not supported in Encore 1.x. Encore 2.0 provides QT Ref support. Export instead as a self-contained .mov file and you should be OK.
