16:9 Projects
Boris Red 4.3.3 appears to be natively formatted in the 4:3 aspect ratio. When I open a widescreen dv video it gets distorted in the 4:3 preview window. Then when the project is renderd it’s distorted..a 16:9 image in a 4:3 videoframe. I’ve looked in the preferences to find a setting for a 16:9 project but can’t find one. Where is it? Thanks for your input.

There is a Project Settings menu under Edit menu. You can select any wide-screen preset or create your custom aspect ratio.
If you are using a plugin, the host program will set correct project size for you. What host are you using? Or is it a standalone?
