    SPACEMAN has been researching transitioning
    from 4/3 D1/DV pal to 16/9.
    Currently, composition sizes are 720/576.
The idea is to create 16/9 compositions which will
be transported full height anamorphic to transmission,
put through an ‘arc’ and unsqueezed for broadcast.
Also, there will be two stages to broadcast, one which involves
a 14/9 signal, whereby the FHA will be arced 14/9.

    SPACEMAN has questions.

    1. What should the new comp sizes be for 16/9? 1024×576?
    2. Square pixels or wide pixels?
    3. Has anyone experienced transport irregularities
between software? AFX to AVID, FCP, MEDIA 100 844x. (or return)
    4. To facilitate the 14/9 signal, how should the original
    comp be prepared?

SPACEMAN greatly appreciates anyone who has taken the time
to read and consider these issues, which are taking up so
    much valuable playtime.
