    16:9 NTSC video for PAL DVD

    Hello,

    This may have been discussed before, I am sorry if this is a repeat.
    I have source footage that is Mpeg2 720×480 16:9 29.97 fps Interlaced, bottom field first.

    I need to make a standard def PAL dvd that will play in a consumer PAL dvd player.

    I can transcode the file, I just am not sure what the best transcode should be.

    I can author the DVD in DVD studio Pro or Adobe Encore.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    No need……all PAL player will play NTSC discs
