16:9 HDV from 4:3 SD
I’d like to know how to get the best quality while bringing 4:3 DV (shot to be cropped to 16:9) into an HDV multicam project. one way would be to enlarge the video horizontally in DV before upconverting but that usually results in an apparent loss of sharpness. I don’t care about render time, just need to get the best so it doesn’t look too soft intercut with the Z1 cameras. would AE do a better job than PP2?

I have had great success “up rezzing” in AE
