I have 16:9 footage, that i have edited (FCP 7) on a 4:3 sequence, mixing it with some 4:3 shots.

I have exported the film – QT self contained.

When i play it back on QT player on actual size, there is no problem. But when i put the View on FULL SCREEN i get a white vertical line on the right of the frame – through out the film (even in the 4:3 shots).

As an experiment i made a small clip of 16:9 footage, on 16:9 sequence – exported same way – no problem there.

My film is half way thorough, cannot change much now. What can i do?

    Any clue?

Don’t worry about how QT behaves when playing files on Comp. Screen.

What is your final output with this video?

The final output will be on a DV CAM tape for broadcast.
But there will also be DVDs and some will, of course, be played back on computers.

    Exported current settings from FCP
Drop file into compressor to make DVD files.
