    16:9 FHA Masking

    HI,

    I am currently working on a project that is 16:9 FHA – this is a repeat of a title that has already been produced… the first title that has been produced seems to have some kind of masking over it, where the picture has been centered and the top / bottom mask area covers up a glitch on the tape… (like letterbox bars)

    Are there settings / an effect in FCP4.5 HD to correct this so I can mask the 16:9FHA source correctly to end up with footage similar to that of the first title?

    Check out the Widescreen Video filter in FCP… does what you want I believe.
