    Hey all:

I saw some postings similar to my issue but none are helping me…

I have footage I brought in from Panasonic P2 cards.
The sequence is set at 960×720 (16:9)

It looks great on screen and great when exported as QT.

However, I need to export it for making a DVD AND for putting on the web.

In the past, when I have used SD, I simply choose MPEG2 for the DVD (16:9) and MPEG 1 from the web download group for putting on the web.

Even though I have the first at 16:9, it still comes out 4:3 (stretching the picture vertically)
AND, I have no way of changing the geometry of the MPEG1 – it just automatically makes 4:3

How can I get my footage out of FCP and on the web and on a dvd without having this stretch thing happen??

So confused, really seems like a no brainer and I tried calling Apple Care Support, but they won’t help me because I have FCP 5.1.4

Thanks for any and all help – I am ready to cry…

    Shari
