    Hi

I’ve been asked to provide some work with 4:3 as title safe. The work is 16:9 PAL Widescreen 720×576. What figures do I feed into AE’s preferences for this? Does using widescreen pixels impact on this?

Also, 16/9=1.77 but 720/576=1.25, aren’t they supposed to be the same?

    Hi,

Try typing in “15%” in the title safe as 16:9 with 4:3 safe is 15% for either side and 5% top & bottom.

hope this works out for you

    regards

Thanks, ironic actually because the job is for the BBC. Just hope it’s what I need.
