    I shot a video film on DVCAM format from Sony HVR Z1n camera on 16:9 mode. Now at editing table i want the width of the black strips or letterbox to reduce. Is it possible in Sony Vegas 7.0.?

    Also is there any site which provides free plugins for Sony Vegas.

    If you set your Project properties to Widescreen, and make sure the footage on the timeline has the correct pixel aspect ratio (Right click / Properties / Media / Pixel aspect ratio.)

    …… then you should have the right shape preview without letterboxing.
