16 x 9 to 4 x 3
Hey
I have a question — I have a video which is 16 x 9 FHA — but i need to convert it to 4 x3 with bars — so i make it into 720 x 576 but which bars do i use — 1:78:1 or 1:85:1
in addition, if I have 16 x 9 with bars and had to convert that to 4 x 3 with bars which do I use
the reason I am asking this is for television and some stations require that the format is 4 x 3.Please Help

Look in your effects palette for the “Reformat” effect menu. In there you will see a prebuilt 16:9 Letterbox Effect. Drop that on an upper track over your video and you will have a letterboxed show.
