I need to create a credit roll in After Effects for a documentary that will be broadcast NTSC on cable TV. The show is being presented in “full frame 16 x 9.” I need to deliver the credit roll to the online editor “anamorphic” on Digibeta.

The whole 16 x 9/anamorphic thing is baffling me at the moment. Is there anyone familiar with this who can explain the proper way for me to set up my comp and output this project in After Effects?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Cheers,

    Hi,

What size is your comp? 864×486 (16:9 square pixels) or the DV widscreen preset?

Another method to get same results; When you take that 864×486 comp and set it to render, adust your render settings to ‘STRETCH’ to 720×486. When the image displays on the 16:9, your 4:3 image will fit the widescreen display.
