15mm rails – size and thread for M-M studs??
Anyone know what the size & thread is for 15mm rails? I need to tie female rails together with a male-male adapter.
I’ve got a bunch of rail kit from Gini Rig, as well as an old Chrozsiel FF rig on Chrozsiel 15mm rails, and the Gini male-ended rails mate into the Chrozsiel, so I’m guessing the Gini is standard size. I need to get/make a few M-M studs to tie together the short Gini F-F rails.
Went to the hardware store, and found the Gini male-ended rail screws perfectly (so it seems) into a 1/2-13 nut. But the 1/2-13 bolt only goes a turn or so into the female rail.
Searched a lot, but can’t find the answer.
