The Dell has USB ports just like the Apple monitors. I have a 30′ USB cable from the Dell to the Mac and connect keyboard / tablet to the Dell.

Nope. It’s amazingly quiet in the edit suite with no computer, no hard drives. I would never move the computer back into my suite.
