14:9 masters
Hi, we’re due to produce Digibeta masters of a PAL 16:9 anamorphic TV spot (for UK) and the client now wishes to have 14:9 masters too. Is this something that can be achieved by adjusting the FCP timeline (rescaling?) or must it be done by some hardware arc machine? Presumably the title and safe picture considerations change too, so should we make the 16:9 graphics extra safe so when converted to 14:9 they are still legal? Or must we make two entirely different versions? Bit confused here so as full an answer as possible would be much appreciated. thanks
