    Hi –
    I am intalling a large facility, and am “jury rigging” two 72×144 BMD routers together. I really need the bigger 144×288 unit.
    Will this be released any time soon ?

    And how does that expander port work ?

    Hi Bob,

    The expansion port is for Blackmagic use only and is not available to the user. Two 72×144 Broadcast Videohubs can be setup as 72×288 by using a DA on each input, but I am sure you already know this.
    Please contact your local dealer regarding delivery.
